WELCOMING | INEXPENSIVE | UNEXPECTED
Over the course of the past two years, we have found ourselves in a few places that we would never have expected prior to setting out. Ukraine nears the top of that list and we could not have enjoyed it more. The things that make for memorable experiences were abundant: friendly locals, great food, adventures with friends. It doesn’t hurt that the American dollar goes a long way there. We were fortunate to be traveling with friends who spoke the local language, which gave us an unfair advantage over the average tourist.
