When discussing travel destinations, people often like to prescribe the appropriate number of days to spend in a place and in our experience there is no correlation between adhering to these recommendations and having an enjoyable time. For us, Prague was the exception to this rule. Most people told us we only needed to spend a handful of days there and we found that this is probably correct. Certainly a month felt too long. That said, we did have some highlights including a weekend trip to the town of Cesky Krumlov, around two hours from Prague on the banks of the winding Vltava river. Czech food is rich and they are proud of their beer, which is close to perfection.
