OUR STORY
At the beginning of 2018, my wife and I sold our apartment and nearly all of our belongings, loaded up a backpack each and set out to see the world. We decided that a life filled with adventure and excitement was more important to us than a life of comfort and routine. It was not an easy decision to leave family, friends and our home in New York behind, but once it was made there was zero hesitation.
We have no intention of compromising our careers or financial goals. We will work harder (and smarter) than ever. Advancements in technology have all but eliminated borders and the need to work from a centralized office and I have ran a fully distributed business for well over five years. In fact, I believe most people are far more productive when able to choose their ideal work environment, whether that be a quiet home office, a bustling hotel lobby or a well-appointed coworking space.
We will immerse ourselves in different cultures, volunteer to give back and make new friends along the way. We will live outside our comfort zone and learn new things, from surfing to cooking to martial arts to new languages. I will share our experiences from the places we live and the things we see. We cannot wait for the adventure ahead.
